Dyslexia

Dyslexia is defined as a reading difficulty, however reading goes hand in hand with full integrated reception of sounds. If sounds are not well processed that compromises the ability to learn how to read. Sounds are then perceived as muffled or not clear which in return has a negative effect on visual processing. This is also due to the fact that the eye muscles are under the control of the vestibular system which is part of the inner ear and responsible for muscle tone and muscle movement. Therefore muffled sounds can be associated with blurry vision when reading. One of the ways to recover is to treat the auditory processing which in return will improve reading ability.
